    The opportunity has arisen for an experienced and appropriately qualified self-employed Fire Risk Assessor to join Pyro Fire on an associate basis.

    Pyro Fire Services are seeking a highly motivated and proactive full-time Fire Risk Assessor to join their expert team. The assessor will be provided with a state-of-the-art mobile app and online risk management portal to complete assessments, in addition to ongoing technical support and training.

    • Flexibility and willingness to travel are required.
    • Membership with The Institution of Fire Engineers or The Institute of Fire Safety Manager is essential.
    • Registration on a recognised fire risk assessors register is desirable.

    Although based in Doncaster (South Yorkshire), we operate nationwide. The successful candidate will be focussed mainly on the Northern region, predominantly Yorkshire.

    If already conducting FRAs, the assessor will need to demonstrate a proven track record in conducting and writing a Fire Risk Assessment in a report format in a range of settings demonstrating an understanding of risk analysis as opposed to just advising and quoting current fire safety guidance and standards. All our assessments are completed via an interactive app and as such IT skills will be required to meet demand.  The successful candidate must be able to work to required deadlines for FRA submission – usually within 3-5 days.
