Our new training arm offers a refreshing take on specialist training courses, delivered by experts. As experienced fire safety consultants, our aim is to deliver quality training in specialist areas.
To begin with, we have developed a new training course focussed on Fire Door Inspection. We have identified there is a clear gap in the market for a course that offers an ‘introduction to Fire Doors’ and the importance of the correct installation, maintenance, testing and checks of fire-resisting doors, and doorsets, in the workplace and residential settings.
With that in mind, we have spent months working on a fresh and up-to-date course titled ‘Fire Door Awareness’, and are proud to state the course has now been fully accredited by The Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM).
The course offers a detailed introduction to the importance of c0mpartmentation, and fire-resisting doorsets, and comprises theory-based modules followed by a multi-choice assessment and example inspection on fire doorsets.

As an awareness course, this training is aimed at those responsible for checking fire doors on a routine basis or arranging for fire door remedial works.

Erik has supported Pyro Fire through its third-party certification to the BAFE SP205 scheme, and membership with The Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM), Fire Industry Association (FIA) and the National Association of Fire Door Inspectors (NAFDI).
